
Laurence Lannes
Senior Health Economist, World Bank
Laurence Lannes is a Senior Economist (Health) at the World Bank. She holds a PHD from LSE and a Masters Degree in health economics from CERDI. Since 2016 when she joined the World Bank, Laurence has supported African countries on health financing reforms in Zimbabwe, DRC, Burundi, Niger and Mali. She has been TTL for Burundi and is now TTL for Niger and Mali working on operations aiming at improving access to quality health and nutrition services as well as girls and women’s empowerment. Prior to joining the Bank, Laurence worked on MENA countries with the African Development Bank. She also has experience in South-East Asia.
