What Makes the Human Rights to Water and Sanitation?

WHAT MAKES THE HUMAN RIGHTS TO WATER AND SANITATION?

The Global Forum on Law, Justice and Development cordially invites you to a   lively discussion about and launch of the Report “Still progress: reviewing the implementation of the human rights to water and sanitation in Francophone Africa” published by the Center for Water Security and Cooperation and the World Bank’s Global Forum on Law, Justice, and Development (GFLJD).

In 2010, the United Nations declared the human rights to water and sanitation. Twelve years later, have these rights been embraced at the national level?

Panelists will explore the extent to which francophone African countries have adopted the human rights to water and sanitation within their national laws and brainstorm how these rights can be strengthened and better designed to achieve results.
